About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Management Accountant to join our team based in Redditch. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to contribute to the financial management and growth of the business. As a key member of the finance team, you will play an integral role in managing the commercial accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to drive business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost analysis, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
  • Support commercial teams in pricing, contract management, and financial planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure financial controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with non-financial managers to provide financial insights that support commercial objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as necessary.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.
