National Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products

Job Title: National Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products

Industry Sector: Roofing Products, Building Products

Area to be covered: National (ideally based South Yorkshire / Midlands however open)

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + 25% bonus

The role of the National Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products will involve:

1. Promoting a range of distributed pitched roofing solutions such as slates, tiles and accessories
2. Managing a team of 3 ASM's & 1 internal sales person
3. Looking after your own area as well as managing the sales team/strategy
4. 90% selling to roofing and builders merchants such as SIG, MKM, Jewson, Travis Perkins, Eurocell, Huws Gray
5. 10% selling to roofing contractors and architects
6. 70% of your time travelling

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products with:

1. Field sales experience in the building products / roofing sector
2. Ideally roofing product experience
3. People management experience (would consider a Regional Sales Manager or Senior Area Sales Manager)
4. Contacts in roofing / builders merchants such as SIG & Eurocell
5. Comfortable with occasional overnight stays where needed
6. A hungry 'go-getter' attitude
