A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Design Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Stroud Area!

With no day ever being the same, the Lead Design Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with customers and key stakeholders in regards to projects
  • Taking projects through from concept to completion
  • Developing and designing solutions for the Aerospace industry
  • Compliance Verification of design models and solutions
  • CAD Drawings and modelling
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Degree educated or equivalent in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience within a design engineer role and experience with leading projects
  • Experience training and developing design and project engineers
  • Strong technical expertise with a passion for aviation.
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills
