OSSTF / OCL (Office / Clerical / Library) 1.0 Head Elementary Administrative Assistant
Rate of Pay: ranges from $25.35 / hour to $29.23 / hour. This position will remain open until filled.
Under the direction of the Principal, or designate, ensures the efficient operation of the Elementary School Office. Includes responsibility for office staff, routines, and equipment. Acts as the Administrative Assistant to Principal. Delegates workload of all other office / clerical staff in the school. Involvement with students, staff, parents, and stakeholders occurs on a daily basis.
The following attributes are necessary: excellent office skills; ability to deal with tact and sound judgement in oral and written communications with students, staff, and the public; the ability to organize and complete work assignments with minimum supervision; and the ability to work independently in a team environment. Previous secretarial experience an asset and experience in an education environment will be preferred.
