A global logistics firm in Hamburg is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental standards. The successful candidate will drive the company's sustainability strategy, track progress against KPIs, and collaborate across departments. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in Sustainability and 3–5 years of experience in sustainability management. The Sustainability Manager, together with the corporate sustainability team, will lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the logistics offices. This role focuses on reducing environmental impact, improving resource efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and embedding sustainable practices across all departments.
The successful candidate will support in achieving the corporate sustainability goals in line with latest regulations and will play a key role in continuously enhancing the overall sustainability concept to meet our clients’ expectations now and in the future.
In doing so, the candidate needs to collaborate with operations, procurement, finance, and IT teams to embed sustainable practices across all departments at Bertling Logistics.
