Your role and responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business. A typical day may involve: Client-Centric Management for IBM's Tech Value: Expertly manage a client set to showcase IBM's technology value proposition, ensuring clients realize the full potential of IBM solutions. Strategic Decision Maker Identification and Partnership Building: Identify key decision makers, qualify opportunities, and establish valuable partnerships, enhancing the alignment of IBM's offerings with client needs. Comprehensive Sales Process Ownership for Growth: Take ownership of the entire sales process, with a focus on new business development and organic account growth, driving expansion and revenue generation. Collaborative Ecosystem Engagement for Sales Growth: Collaborate within IBM's extensive sales ecosystem to execute campaigns and foster pipeline growth, enhancing IBM's market presence and influence.
Required technical and professional expertise
Knowledge of IBM zSoftware licensing (pricing models, license metrics)
Understanding of and ability to position the IBM Z strategy and go-to-market approach internally and externally in fron of clients, e.g. sysprox and IT-leaders
Experience in selling IBM zSoftware solutions by demostrating strong knowledge of products such as WCA4Z, IntelliMagic, and UKO next to demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Knowledge in creating client proposals and obtaining price approvals by demonstrating some expertise in IBM sales process
Basic experience in contract creation and processing of purchase orders with focus on IBM Z software and hardware solutions
Fluent in German and English.

Demonstrating expertise in the IBM Z markets
Swiftly becoming a trusted client advisor by demonstrating some industry knowledge around insurance and banking clients
Training on IBM's zStack offerings is available to further enhance knowledge and capabilities, but initial skills and experience are required
