Job summary

An engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical/Piping Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and maintenance of piping systems for major energy and water projects. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering and have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing piping fabrication and installation activities. Strong project management and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Piping/Mechanical Engineer in Power (CCGT) or EPC projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of piping engineering principles, industry standards, and codes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor EPC Contractors piping design deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Track and report progress of piping activities.
