Job summary
A manufacturing company based in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a full-time on-site role. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot machinery issues, and repair mechanical equipment. Key responsibilities include operating factory machines and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in mechanical work and possess knowledge of equipment maintenance. Experience in the steel fabrication industry is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in factory/mechanical work.
- Knowledge of machines and tools is essential.
- Proficient in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain factory machines (CNC, Plasma, etc.).
- Check machines daily and report problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Technician based in Ras Al Khaimah. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and routine servicing of mechanical equipment. The day-to-day tasks will include troubleshooting machinery issues, conducting inspections, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal functionality. The role requires working closely with the maintenance team to address technical concerns, maintain high safety standards, and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
- Operate and maintain factory machines (CNC, Plasma etc.)
- Check machines daily and report problems
- Do preventive maintenance
- Repair mechanical issues when breakdown happens
- Minimum 2 years experience in factory / mechanical work.
- Knowledge of machines and tools
- Ready to work shifts
- Experience in steel fabrication industry is an advantage
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair and conducting regular inspections
- Practical knowledge in general Maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in manufacturing or industrial environments, is advantageous
