The Terminal Maintenance Technician executes the maintenance of Terminals, Bulk Material Handling Equipment’s/Systems and works effectively and efficiently as a member of the team.

Roles and Responsibility:

Perform the day-to-day Terminals Facilities related Maintenance Services and support the Maintenance Foreman and Maintenance Manager.

• Ensures a standard approach to safe working conditions and practices so as to ensure a safe working environment for all maintenance Contractors in the terminal.
• Performs regular visits to the Terminals across the Etihad Rail Network to verify the quality of the work, status of the assets and standardizations of processes.
• Review of fault reports and identifies systematic technical issues and drive the timely resolution of these by the Maintenance Service Provider and Supervisors.
• Approves the Facilities Management related Invoices and ensures that all SAP accounting tasks
• (SES, CRO, etc.) are performed in order to ensure timely settlement of such invoices.
• Ability for PR creation and supporting documentation collection as well as follow up of all related procurement activities up to Service / Goods delivery.
• Follows up on corrective actions and ensures that lessons learnt are cascaded to the whole Rail Network teams.
• Creates, reviews and updates all Facilities related Procedures, Instructions, Forms in accordance with the strategy set by the Terminals Director, and Business goals.
• Reviews all Service Provider’s Maintenance Manuals and processes to ensure compliance with the Contractual dispositions.
• Ensures that related sub-contractors comply Competence Management requirements to perform their duties.
• Reviews and endorses the Maintenance Service Provider’s work.
• Undertakes tasks and duties as directed by Maintenance Manager.

Academic Qualifications:

• Diploma Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering specialism, or significant operational experience in a technician role.

Professional Qualifications:

• Recognized facility knowledge
• UAE Driving license

Experience:

• Relevant industry experience minimum of 3 to 5 years.
