The Project Development Engineer is a key role directly reporting to the Pre Sales Manager. You will be based in Dubai and will be a part of a growing team, responsible for driving the growth of business for Building Technology and Solutions with a focus on Energy Solutions in GCC.

As a Project Development Engineer, you will work closely with the Sales team for the technical and commercial development of Energy solutions and proposals. As a member of this team, you will operate within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with pre-sales and estimation for energy solutions.

How you will do it

You will be responsible for validating assumptions made during solution design, building energy savings estimates, cost estimates, and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. You will also provide technical risk analysis for the complete solution and participate in transition meetings with the Operations team to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline, and customer requirements are properly managed.

As a Project Development Engineer, you may need to perform on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design reviews. You will focus on developing multiple components for the bundled sale of energy solutions, using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors).

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic or similar
• 0-1 year experience / Intern experience in an electrical background
• Result-oriented, tenacious, self-motivated, with a customer-focused approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in business analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills - must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our stakeholders and internal partners
• Fluency in the English language is essential.
