Job Description:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine project scope and cost.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including material, labor, and equipment.
• Develop bill of quantities (BOQ) and pricing based on market rates and supplier quotations.

Technical Analysis:

• Evaluate technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed designs and solutions.
• Identify potential risks and provide value engineering options to optimize costs.
• Ensure estimates comply with industry standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve the best value while maintaining quality standards.

Bid Submission & Documentation:

• Prepare and submit complete bid proposals within deadlines.
• Provide technical and commercial clarifications during pre-bid and post-bid stages.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, revisions, and final pricing for reference.
• Work closely with project managers, design teams, procurement, and finance departments.
• Support business development by providing cost insights for proposals and feasibility studies.
• Assist in contract negotiations and provide input on project execution strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and industry standards.
