The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering, and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps, and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, and Seller Service. As a pillar of the e-commerce discovery experience, our products leverage state-of-the-art machine learning solutions and data science techniques to enable tens of millions of users to discover relevant and interesting things among hundreds of millions of products and contents available on Shopee.

• Responsible for video recommendation projects, including the design and improvement of product mechanisms, recommendation strategy analysis, and building recommendation-related operational platforms.
• Gain a deep understanding of user and video needs, analyze and develop video recommendation strategies, continuously enhance distribution effectiveness, and optimize traffic value.
• Leverage data analysis and user insights to explore user touchpoints, both within and outside the platform, to improve user experience and business competitiveness through recommendation strategies.
• Design evaluation metrics for ecosystem and strategy, verify the effectiveness of different strategies, and continuously optimize.

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in product management.
• Domain knowledge in recommendation products, to better understand the backend mechanism of recommendation strategy and facilitate communications with the developers.
• Result-oriented, self-starting, and possesses a strong sense of ownership.
• Robust quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills and strong logical and critical thinking abilities.
• Outstanding design thinking, significant creativity, good business sense, and strategies.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
