Job Description:

Our client is a leading renewable energy company based in Singapore and is looking for an Associate, Group Accounting to support its operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• In charge of closing the monthly financials for a variety of offshore and onshore organisations.
• Review all related entities' monthly, semi-annual, and yearly accounts to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and categorised in compliance with company regulations and IFRS.
• Manage monthly consolidation for several entities.
• Control cash flow and balances to meet working capital and investment needs.
• Organize outstanding intercompany loans (drawdown, interest accrual, repayments, etc).
• Ensure intercompany advances are paid back each month.
• Examine annual corporate tax filings and GST filings to ensure they are submitted on time.
• Manage and organise the semi-annual and annual review/audit for the different Holdcos and SGCos.
• Communicate with the accounting departments of the offshore operations.
• Attend to any investor enquiries and requests for financial information.
• Assist in providing any financial information and analysis requested by the business.
• Provide active coaching to onshore teams and timely support to their queries.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore, or an accounting degree.
• Experience with consolidation, full set of accounts, and drafting financial statements.
• Experience with managing overseas finance teams.
• Familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Preferably has audit background in Big4.
• Good to have some knowledge of business combination/merger and acquisitions.
• Able to manage projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
