Position Overview:
We are seeking a finance professional with extensive experience, primarily in accounting, with exposure to controlling activities as they gain more experience. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop expertise in accounting, financial operations, and administration within a global organization. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and handling essential accounting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Tax Compliance:
- Handle full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management and journal entries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain bank reconciliations and oversee cash management activities.
- Manage expense tracking and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, VAT, corporate tax).
- Work closely with auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax filings.
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Maintain financial documentation, contracts, and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with invoice generation and follow-ups for accounts receivable.
- Support payroll processing by coordinating payroll data and ensuring tax compliance.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring accurate payment processing.
- Coordinate with external service providers, such as banks and accounting firms, for smooth operations.
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Support financial budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in cash flow analysis and liquidity management.
- Provide insights on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
Controlling & Cost Management (Developing Role):
- Assist in developing cost control measures and financial transparency initiatives.
- Support in conducting variance analysis and financial performance monitoring.
- Participate in process automation and system optimization for efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Fluent in English; strong communication and collaboration skills.
