Handle the complete accounting process, prepare cash flow projections and provide detailed management reports on financial performance.
Responsible for the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Oversee daily collections, treasury functions, and banking activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
Manage petty cash and ensure that employee claims are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
Monitor inventory levels and manage the sales order process, handle purchasing functions and ensure that spending aligns with the approved budget.
Assist in any ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by management, including special projects or process improvements.
Requirements:
A Degree in Accountancy or a Professional Accountancy Qualification is required.
At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the hospitality industry (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).
Knowledge of SST (Sales and Service Tax), accounting software like Cloudbeds (preferred), and SQL Financial Accounting systems.
Proficient in using accounting tools and being computer literate.
Strong analytical skills to assess and manage financial data effectively.
Ability to multi-task, stay committed to deadlines, and take initiative in learning new skills.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
A good command of English, Mandarin, and Malay, both written and spoken.
