Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure that all subordinate team members achieve their Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Track the achievements of subordinates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, providing guidance and corrective actions as needed.
- Lead the establishment of new outlets within the designated territory, including planning and execution.
- Implement strategies to control Accounts Receivable (AR) within the territory.
- Work in accordance with the Monthly Work Plan to ensure the efficient operation of the sales team.
- Ensure comprehensive daily coverage of all assigned routes to maximize market penetration.
- Coordinate and maintain clear communication with the Warehouse to ensure timely and accurate stock availability.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to orders, ensuring their prompt resolution.
- Provide routing assistance and file maintenance support for the sales team.
- Ensure that selling tools and point-of-purchase materials are readily available for agents or depots.
- Coordinate the completion of identified resets, special events, and equipment deliveries.
- Monitor the attendance, leave, and sick days of subordinate team members, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Coach and mentor existing and newly joined team members to enhance their performance and skills.
- Work towards and strive to attain monthly and quarterly targets in terms of cases and revenue for the designated territory.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Marketing or equivalent.
- At least 1 - 2 years working experience in sales managing wholesaler preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods company.
- Strong analytical ability with negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and oral.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Windows applications.
- Possess own transport.
