MSC IT department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with focus on Analytics solutions who is passionate about leveraging Data and Analytics solutions to generate actionable business insights. The candidate would be expected to have sharp analytical mind with excellent communication and data analysis/presentation skills. As part of his / her work, the Analytics Business Analyst will capture, analyze, and document requirements and support the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders. He/she will propose technical solutions, manage technical enhancements, facilitate relationships with several stakeholders and bridges the gap between IT Analytics and Business. The Analytics Business Analyst is expected to accompany business users in the digital transformation to plan and implement the new IT initiatives. He/she will handle the change management and the application adoption initiatives. The Analytics Business Analyst will be working closely with business stakeholders, supporting the Analytics Team Lead in managing internal and external resources for the entire project lifecycle.
• Gather functional requirements from the business, guiding the proposal from idea through stage gate approvals up to service delivery.
• Work with end users to refine and document processes, document training plans, analyze data migration needs, and manage the overall program from design through implementation and support.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for the end-to-end management of Analytics services (new projects, operations, demand management, incident management).
• Follow and execute implementation activities of specific initiatives based on Analytics project plans.
• Work with internal and third-party developers to ensure analytics applications are correctly implemented.
• Identify testing needs from business and technical perspectives.
• Analyze long-term requirements for corporate systems and make recommendations and proposals for implementing technology strategies.
• Assess the compatibility and integration of proposed architecture solutions to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
• Support change readiness initiatives as needed, define a proper delivery model.
• Prepare communication of status updates to various levels of MSC management.
• Clear and time critical communications on project activity and issues status for various levels of criticality.
• Participation in and leading critical situations raised by Business to operations' analytics.
• Rapid response to critical issues raised in production environment.
• Working with globally distributed teams to analyze, troubleshoot and isolate root cause of critical operational issues when they arise.
• +5 years experience in Analytics solutions on Finance area, with significant deliveries for multinational enterprise, both B2B and B2C.
• A sound level of expertise in design analysis and implementation of data warehouses, data marts and reporting / dashboards solution.
• Strong understanding of database and data model concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience in Digital Analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics.
• Data auditing skills to verify data integrity, understand discrepancies, and resolve them effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills: ability to communicate at managerial levels of an organization.
• Ability to build a collaborative working relationship between the IT department and the broader business counterparts.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Management Information Systems or comparable discipline.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written (for technical and non-technical stakeholders). Any additional European language is an advantage.
• Right to work in Italy.
