Principal Process Engineer: NOV Process Systems. Join NOV Process Systems, a dynamic leader in the process systems industry. We're currently seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to play a pivotal role in leading our project teams. As a Principal Process Engineer, you will lead our Process Team in project/tender environments. Your expertise will be crucial in advising on technical solutions, providing mentorship, and ensuring the successful execution of process activities within project parameters. You will proactively suggest technical improvements to enhance our process systems, workflows, and tools.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The role requires you to define and manage project objectives in terms of quality and budget for the process team.
• Contribute to a positive working environment and strong team spirit within the process team.
• Offer core expertise, acting as a focal contact for advice and guidance within the process team.
• Provide commercial acumen and strategy for the execution of process activities in projects/tenders.
• Assist project engineering managers in designing and executing projects according to contractual and client needs.
• Provide technical guidance on line sizing, PSV sizing, control valves sizing, equipment sizing, and safety solutions.
• Ensure technical accuracy, compliance with quality procedures, and adherence to project plans.
• Execute as Process Lead for feasibility studies, conceptual design, and process studies.
• Participate in development and research projects as a technical advisor.
• Develop key design documents and act as a Process representative in Technical Design Reviews.
• Interface with other disciplines, vendors, and relevant parties, providing process engineering input.

FORMAL COMPETENCE & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in oilfield services or a similar industry.
• Strong experience in Process Systems, such as Monoethylene Glycol reclamation, Triethylene Glycol reclamation, Sulphate Removal Units, Gas Sweetening, and Separation technologies are an advantage.
• Engineering degree: M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering required.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal); Fluent/Mother tongue in the local language (Italian).
