The senior global mobility manager manages the end-to-end process in assigned multi-country regions for the physical relocation of employees, their families, and their possessions across international borders. Acts as the first point of contact for the business and HR community on global mobility policy and supporting administrative processes. Monitors foreign government policies and actions in assigned multi-country region(s) that could impact global mobility policy and its execution.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining global mobility templates (including contract templates) for assigned multi-country regions.
- Checking and approving all generated international assignment contracts before issuing.
- Managing right to work compliances in assigned multi-country regions.
- Ensuring social compliance (medical, statutory pension) in host country locations.
- Managing day-to-day global mobility query resolutions, escalating queries where required.
- Coordinating global mobility activities with tax, payroll, HR services, and finance to ensure on-time and in-full global mobility service delivery.
- Developing & maintaining a series of both internal and external key relationships.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement plans/identifying key business improvements.
- Providing comprehensive technical/functional expertise to support delivery of strategy and ensure processes are delivered in accordance with compliance and regulations.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
- Significant prior experience in execution of global mobility policies and the associated end-to-end global mobility processes.
- In-depth understanding of global mobility market practice.
- Good understanding of right to work and social compliance requirements in host locations for which the role is responsible.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
- Working to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Self-leadership in ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Global mobility expert at operational (end-to-end delivery of global mobility processes) and tactical (guiding business on policy interpretation) levels, multi-country experience (or equivalent).
You’ll also have:
- Ability to contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement of global mobility services.
- Experience in managing outsourced global mobility providers.
- Ability to support the resolution of complex cases and queries involving senior stakeholders.
- Experience in global mobility project delivery.
- HR Services and payroll experience.
