A specialist security company in the UK seeks a Fire & Security Engineer to install and maintain fire alarm and security systems across Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, and London. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in installations, diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving license. Skills
Established in 1961, our client is a privately owned specialist security company. They are looking to recruit a new Security and Fire Engineer to carry out various installations, servicing, repairs, and reactive maintenance on Security Systems, Fire Detection and Fire Alarm systems.

Please note- This role is primarily based in Essex, with regular travel to Suffolk, Hertfordshire, London, and other surrounding counties as required.
- Proven experience in both security and fire system installations
- A full UK driving license is essential
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication skills for liaising with office staff, managers, and clients
- Advanced skills in commissioning and system design are a plus
- Commissioning experience preferred but not essential
- Install and maintain Fire Alarm Systems, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Emergency Lighting, and related safety systems
- Carry out small works and repairs to complete systems
- Ensure compliance with the latest British Standards
- Provide accurate documentation and reports
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults efficiently
