Job summary
The Care Group Secretary will provide a full and comprehensive administrative service to the Care Group. The postholder will be expected to coordinate the Senior Leadership Team secretaries across the Care Group ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring organisation the Care Group Triumvirate diaries and other senior managers diaries, preventing conflicts and ensuring the Care Group is represented by a Senior Leads at Trust Group (as appropriate).
The Care Group Secretary will be responsible for ensuring all administration requirements of the Care Group and other Senior Leaders in the Care Group have their administration needs met by planning of administration resource and supporting with forward planning.
The post holder will have line management responsibility for the admin and clerical staff within the Care Group and will be responsible for the coordination of the work and requirements identified, flagging up any issues that may come to light.
The Care Group Secretary will undertake general office duties including the taking and typing of minutes, reports, other correspondence, actioning any requirements identified within the typing. They will answer and manage calls and be the main point of contact for the Care Group Team.
