Consultant or Senior Aquatic Ecologist
Location: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness or Aberdeen
Salary: £37,000 - £48,000
Hours: 35 hours per week

Role: Consultant or Senior Aquatic Ecologist
Join a long-established team who currently undertake a range of freshwater ecology surveys. You will be involved in planning and overseeing the delivery of a range of projects in accordance with current legislation and best practice guidance.
You will provide high-quality, objective freshwater ecology advice and practical land management to clients.
Manage projects effectively, meet deadlines and budgets for projects within fish passes, development, river and habitat restoration, energy & infrastructure projects.
Also support the general workload of the wider ecology team, where appropriate.
Occasional out of hours work with the associated surveys and working away from home for short periods depending on the survey location.
