Our client is a Japanese manufacturer in the textile industry. To expand their team in Düsseldorf, the company is currently seeking a Sales Manager for Medical Devices / EMEA Area (m/f/d).
Sales Activities
Account management and sales management of distributors in each EMEA country.
Development of new customers and market research.
Support existing distributors across the EMEA region, enhancing relationships and driving sales growth.
Report directly to the manager, providing updates and insights on sales activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Conduct regular business trips across the EMEA region, approximately twice per month.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
Negotiation Tasks
Conduct negotiations with distributors and customers as a representative, and adjust contracts and transaction terms.
Marketing Activities
Formulation and execution of marketing plans necessary for the sale of medical devices.
Analysis of local market needs and planning of product promotions.
Management and support of exhibitions at academic conferences.
Minimum Requirements:
Successfully completed studies in an economics-related program like Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Sales and Marketing, Business Management or a similar field of study.
Over 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, such as sales staff, sales manager, sales executive, account manager, key account manager, business development representative or other fitting roles.
Excellent English skills and good Japanese skills.
Interest or experience in the medicine/biology sector is highly welcome.
Willingness to travel 30-40% of the work time.
Enjoys teamwork and has a strong customer-oriented approach.
