As a barista, you will be a positive and energetic coffee enthusiast, who is motivated to create a genuine + unique experience for our guests! As an ambassador of The Drake properties, you are expected to greet all guests with enthusiasm, be well informed in all aspects of our offerings, and provide our guests a world-class experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Assist customers in selecting beverages by presenting and explaining the coffee menu items
• Operate and maintain all coffee equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all coffee beverages
• Provide exceptional customer service and knowledge of coffee products
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or café
• Knowledge and passion for specialty coffee
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess and/or be eager to develop Food and Beverage knowledge and hospitality experience
• Must have flexible availability that includes early morning, as early as 6:30am, weekends, and holidays
