Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Job Title: Agricultural Project Manager
Reporting to: GM

Authority:

1. Lead the integration of multiple sub-systems into a complex system with expertise in hydroponics, aquaponics, and control systems.
2. Design and manage the department.
3. Play a key role in the development and management of project timelines, priorities, risks, budget, and resources.
4. Establish and maintain integrated project schedules for accurate timelines and financial analyses.
5. Responsible for daily planning, organization, supervision, and administration of activities on farm estates.
6. Visit sites to observe environmental problems, consult with contractors, and monitor construction activities.
7. Business development to seek new projects.
8. Test agricultural machinery and equipment for performance adequacy.
9. Conduct educational programs to help farmers improve agricultural productivity.
10. Discuss plans with clients, contractors, consultants, and engineers for evaluations and necessary changes.
11. Supervise food processing or manufacturing plant operations.
12. Design and supervise environmental and land reclamation projects in agriculture and related industries.
13. Implement project management procedures and report to upper management.
14. Prepare and facilitate decision-making processes with the review committee.
15. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, performing variance analysis, and initiating corrective actions.
16. Knowledge on constructing hydroponic tables and organic/hydroponic growing.
17. Experience with growing greenhouse vegetables and fruits organically and hydroponically.
18. Monitor plant growth and health, and supervise workers in growing and crop collection methods.
19. Create plans for planting and crop collection, and record statistics of each greenhouse.
20. Experience in fertilization needs for vegetables, fruits, and flowers.

Desired Skills:

1. Good communication skills.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in greenhouse development.
3. Demonstrated analytical planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
4. Fluency in English (additional fluency in Arabic preferred).
5. Experience in Hydroponic and Aquaponic systems.
