Purpose

The role of the Dermatologist is to conduct screenings, skin evaluations, and analyze the client's medical history to determine appropriate treatments. The Dermatologist also provides clinical leadership, professional medical direction, and services to Skin Laundry including, but not limited to, developing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices within the Dermatology department.

As the Medical Director, the role will provide clinical leadership and professional medical direction to the Clinic as well as offer consultation, diagnosis, and Dermatology treatments to clients. The Medical Director is also responsible for working with fellow team members in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and adopting best practices.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

1. Consult, diagnose, and provide skin care treatments to clients and conduct skin examinations.
2. Conduct a competent physical assessment using all resources at hand, observation, and communication.
3. Perform various cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, chemical peeling, dermal fillers, PRP, and microdermabrasion.
4. Provide treatment of facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, including understanding about the sun and its effect on the skin.
5. Administer chemical treatments keeping pace with the latest developments in the field.
6. Participate and provide clinical leadership in the development and review of appropriate protocols that support consistent care.
7. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all client records according to Skin Laundry's protocols and standards.
8. Ensure all clients have their needs met and receive appropriate attention.
9. Ensure that all procedures follow regulatory standards.
10. Influence and facilitate change within the department to improve standards of care.
11. Anticipate, recognize, and manage emergencies and unsafe situations/practice, and initiate appropriate and timely intervention.
12. Promote an environment that enables client safety, independence, quality of life, and health.
13. Keep updated with the latest innovations and advancements as expertise.
14. Provide excellent client care and feedback.

Job Requirements

1. Analytical, quantitative, and communication skills (written & verbal).
2. Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

1. Master’s Degree in Dermatology.
2. Western Board certified preferred.
3. The ideal candidate must have a valid medical license to practice in KSA or be eligible to obtain the license.

Professional Experience

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Dermatologist.
2. Must have experience in PRP, Antiaging mesotherapy, microdermabrasion, derma roller, skin rejuvenation, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED70,000.00 per month
