Identifying and developing relationships with potential clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
Coordinate and lead all sales activities, including presentations, demonstrations, and customer support.
Strong written and oral communication skills needed to create sales presentations, draft creative and technical proposal content, and effectively solicit business via phone and face to face customer contact, as well as through tradeshow and industry events.
Collaborate with the team to develop strategic sales plans and forecasts.
Regularly report on sales performance against set targets.
Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Event industry.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
Experience in networking targeted customers at industry events.
Experience working within a team environment to over-deliver on desired results.
Experience with high-level (Director or above) contract negotiations and the ability to successfully navigate complex organisations.
Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with creating and executing presentations using PowerPoint and/or other forms of media.
