Sales Secretary (PA) required in Westmead, Durban.
An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent SALES SECRETARY (PA) based in Westmead.
This role supports the sales team and executive management by providing essential administrative and secretarial assistance, including handling calls, emails, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
Responsibilities include sales administration, customer and commission tracking, diary and travel management, minute-taking, CRM updates (e.g., Salesforce), and general office coordination.
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, proactive, and capable of multitasking, with a strong customer service focus and the ability to support both day-to-day operations and high-level sales initiatives.

Salary: Basic R15 000 – R20 000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Secretary Duties:
- Ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted. Liaising with the Chair to plan meetings.
- Maintaining effective records and administration.
- Upholding legal requirements.
- Communication and correspondence.
Personal Assistant Duties:
- Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
- Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well prepared for meetings.
- Control access to the manager/executive.
- Sales administration.
- Customer Relationship Management/Administration assistance to the Sales team.
- Commission Process Management/Administration assistance to the Sales team.
- Vehicles Administration assistance to the Sales team.
- Assist with setting up appointments for the Sales team through lead process and other.
- Manage all incoming calls and forward to the necessary team member and take messages and forward to the relevant team member.
- Set pace and meet monthly sales targets to reach promotion level.
- Salesforce Administration- revising price books, updates.
- Assist team in updates/ reporting as needed Sending out weekly scorecards.
- Assist With Any Sales Team Event Organization (Dealer Meeting, Office Events).
- Coordinate Regional Tradeshows: Registration, Bookings, Logistics, Presentations.
- Assist with Data Plan Renewals as needed.
- Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation.
- Organising events and conferences.
- Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
- Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Managing databases and filing systems.
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Collating and filing expenses.
- Conducting research on behalf of the manager.
- Organising the manager’s personal commitments including travel.
- Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (adv) or
- Diploma / Degree in Business or Office Management (adv).
- 2-4 years of sales exp. + 2-4 years exp. in the role as a PA.
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Advanced Excel, Word and Power point).
