Job Title: Junior Bookkeeper

Location: Bellville

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to assist our accounting department in managing financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and experience working with accounting software.

1. Assist in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
2. Prepare and input financial transactions into accounting software
3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
4. Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
5. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
6. Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes
7. Help with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
8. Assist with audits and other financial inquiries as needed

1. 3+ years experience
2. Xero accounting package experience
3. Books up to TB
4. Bank reconciliations including petty cash

1. Salary: Negotiable (Market Related)
