Financial Accountant - Banking

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
2. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and standards
3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
4. Conduct regular account reconciliations
5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

7. Provide guidance on financial controls and best practices

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. CA (SA) or equivalent professional qualification
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role within the banking sector
4. Strong knowledge of IFRS and banking regulations
5. Experience with financial management systems and banking software
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
