Organisation Overview
Formerly Very Special Arts Singapore, ART:DIS, established in 1993, is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities (PwDs) through the arts. Our diverse programmes nurture the artistic interests of PwDs, bolstering their self-confidence and integrating them into a supportive community beyond formal education.
Our professional development pathways ensure sustainable impact, offering valuable work experience to empower PwDs for independent living. We run 3 centres in the community and serve over 870 individuals annually through the 27 programmes we organise.
Role Overview
This role specifically focuses on growing livelihood opportunities for our artists with disabilities, mainly through the sale of their artwork merchandise, artwork licenses, and commissioned work opportunities. The sales channels include various public pop-up events (e.g., Boutiques Fair, Clay Fest Market), and you will be responsible for the logistics preparation and sale of our merchandise at these events, engaging directly with public customers.
Part of your role will also require you to engage with corporates for commissioned art, corporate workshops, and corporate gifting needs.
