Position Summary

You are responsible for production, assembly, design and development of hardware and equipment for the Company’s products. The job also involves sourcing of components, participating in technical design, working with Software Engineers and/or Project Manager in budgeting, scheduling, management of contractors, and installation, deployment and maintenance of the products in an operational environment (on-site when required).

Main Responsibilities

• System set-up; troubleshooting, resolution of anomalies discovered in equipment and methods, provision of assistance in maintenance service
• Installation of equipment room racking, servers and UPS, cable works for power and communication
• Installation and maintenance of electrical and Instrument equipment
• Installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security.
• Managing and monitoring all systems and infrastructure.
• Collation of information on hardware systems, costs of development, work program and technical specification
• Participation in the development and testing process, systems testing and commissioning
• Provision of support for design and installation of ‘turnkey’ and/or ‘user-defined’ systems
• Sourcing and identification of suppliers for evaluation
• Conducting preliminary assessments on systems requirements of the clients and matching with components recommended by sub-contractors
• Provision of assistance in systems deployment, system implementation and/or installation
• Performance of corrective and preventive maintenance work in-house or at customer site (on-site)
• Implementation of enhancements/upgrades as instructed
• Preparation of documentation and logistics support where necessary
• Travel may be required from time to time

Skills and Experience

· Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in electrical and electronic system set-up, installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance

· Strong debugging skills

· Strong teamwork as well as ability to work independently

· Well-versed in:

• Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
• Microsoft Office
• Single-Line Diagrams
• Electrical Drawings

· Experience in:

• Hands-on Unit Testing
• Hands-on Integration Testing
• AutoCAD
• Network Diagrams
• Project Management

· Competency in:

• IT Network installation, configuration, and administration
• IT Systems installation, configuration, and administration

· Knowledge of:

• Cyber Security concepts and implementation
• iOS and Android platforms
• Microsoft Project

Minimum Qualifications

· Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

· Practical experience in:

System set-up, installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
