Job summary
A leading poultry processing company in Singapore is looking for a skilled IT Application Specialist. This role involves analyzing and optimizing IT application systems, managing change requests, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma/degree in IT, have at least 2 years of experience with ERP solutions, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The position may require work outside of regular hours, and team collaboration is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP solutions on Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012+).
- Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting IT application systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve IT application systems for performance optimization.
- Manage application change requests and assist in project management.
- Develop, configure, and test AX functions and interfaces.

- Analyse and improve IT application systems and processes to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Manage application change requests and assist in project management to ensure seamless implementation.
- Develop, configure, and test AX functions, web services, and interfaces between application systems, including coding and algorithm development.
- Customize and configure workflow to facilitate ERP integration with other applications, ensuring smooth data exchange.
- Troubleshoot user problems and needs, identifying root causes and determining possible solutions to resolve issues.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for Microsoft Dynamics AX, Metabase BI, and mobile interface applications, collaborating with users to implement changes and improvements.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and administering ERP solutions on Microsoft Dynamics AX (version 2012 and above).
- Strong understanding of SQL Server and associated reporting services; experience with X++ and .NET development is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work outside office hours as necessary.
