Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination and monitoring in compliance with specification and Project Quality Plan requirements and in all areas related to QAQC.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage a team of QC supervisors/inspectors to carry out QC inspection.
2. Manage document controllers to control Management Systems documentation.
3. Carry out internal and subcontractor/supplier quality audit.
4. Report product quality issues, and work with engineers to carry out root cause analysis to determine causes of defects.
5. Oversee the inspection and verification roles and quality related issues to ensure contract works comply with contract specification and drawings.
6. Assist structural, M&E and architecture departments to submit to the related consultants the works method statement and materials samples.
7. Liaise with sub-contractors/customers on site quality issues and carry out investigation to identify causes of complaints and seek for solution and correction of defective works.
8. Verify that non-conformance are reworked and acceptable for release/closure.
9. Ensure materials and workmanship compliance with specifications.
10. Assist respective section/department managers on the submission of method statement and material samples.
11. Attend site progress meetings with client, consultant and sub-contractors.
12. Assist the Quality Manager on ISO9001 implementation and identify the need for new/revised procedures to support the implementation of the QMS.
13. Ensure all filing and documentation are in compliance with the Department operation and ISO procedure.
14. Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
15. Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or other professional qualification.

Skills & Abilities

1. Effective communication skills.
2. Willing to work on shift.
3. Good knowledge of construction activities.
4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

1. 3 years of working experience.
