About the Role
Monks is hiring for an Integrated Project Director to lead and manage one of our clients, ensuring exceptional delivery of all projects (large-scale creative adaptations and creative campaign projects) while fostering strong client relationships and driving operational excellence, and oversee our team of project managers across various clients.
We are an integrated agency specialising in creative campaigns and asset adaptations at scale. We work with some of the world’s leading brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery of client campaigns, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
- Manage the production and adaptation of creative assets across multiple channels (digital, social, print, in-store and beyond).
- Liaise between our clients and internal teams to ensure Monks nail milestone after milestone - hustling internal resources to meet external deadlines no matter what.
- Balance resources and workload: your planning and coordination are key for successfully delivering projects on time.
- Help to manage the process and completion of multiple projects simultaneously, managing the in- and output of our Monks.
- Ensure all deliverables align with client objectives, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
- Meet deadlines with precision, identify potential risks and proactively flag the ones that aren’t attainable upfront and develop mitigation strategies.
- Plan, oversee and manage the input and output of a team that includes creatives, designers, developers, and QA.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to inform ways of working.
- Look for ways to optimise ways of working, work with our AI Task Force to find ways to automate processes.
Client Management:
- Brief team members on delivery objectives and keep stakeholders informed on the progress of projects.
- Translate client briefs into actionable project plans and deliverables.
- Lead client communications, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions and innovations.
Operational Excellence:
- Develop and optimise workflows to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.
- Oversee budget creation, tracking, and reconciliation to ensure profitability and accurate forecasting and billing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, production, strategy, and media) to streamline processes and enhance delivery.
- Create documentation around best practices for the development of new workstreams.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, providing clear direction, support, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
- Oversee the work of junior teammates and help them improve their skills with constructive feedback.
Strategic Insight & Growth:
- Identify opportunities to expand the Monks’ services and deepen client engagement.
- Stay abreast of our clients’ industry trends to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to client projects.
- Support new business development efforts by contributing to pitches and proposals.
About You
The Essentials:
- Excellent project director and fabulous with clients.
- Excellent English communication (speaking, reading, and writing).
- 8+ years of experience in digital advertising or production.
- Proficient in managing digital to print assets, including rich media, programmatic campaigns, POS assets, and dynamic ad creatives.
- Experience with media plans and managing the launch of digital ad campaigns.
- Understanding of display ads anatomy, DoubleClick, and Sizmek.
- Proficient communicator, able to provide clear updates and describe issues to Monks in other offices.
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale creative adaptation projects.
- Solid scoping skills for realistic timings and resource estimates.
- Acquainted with (post)production of film, image, and animation assets for social media.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Not a must, but a plus:
- Proficiency in additional Asian language.
- Experience producing or managing DOOH campaigns.
- Creative background.
- Print knowledge.
- AI tools/software savvy.
