ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

Responsible for managing all aspects of IT Governance process for changes for large and complex SAP landscape (multiple layers, multiple products supporting Oil & Gas business) in a support group that is globally distributed, including prioritizing change requests, assessing their impact, and accepting or rejecting changes. This person will have a deep understanding of managing an internal SAP governance process to ensure policy compliance of changes (MoC).

Job location is based out of Bangalore, Karnataka.

1. Large Scale IT infrastructure rollouts of systems of technologies across multiple sites/locations/countries.
2. Assist users with IT ticketing system questions and issues related to Change Mgmt.
3. Identify and report issues and enhancement requests for IT ticketing system modules that Change Mgmt. Team is responsible for.
4. Provide support on changes to the technical teams, system owners and stakeholders.
5. Harmonize logistics changes for SAP landscape systems along with other components (Network, OS, Database, etc.).
6. Provide governance metrics and reports for different audiences.
7. Analyze and approve changes accordingly to the best practices, processes and criteria.
8. Ensure that change/communication coming from the Infrastructure Services technology towers to the end users is fit for purpose, has the appropriate approvals and is readily legible by end users.
9. Provide continuous improvement suggestions for operations and support of the areas mentioned above.

Skills and Qualifications

1. ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) knowledge - ITIL certification.
2. Knowledge about ITIL or other service management frameworks.
3. Knowledge of infrastructure services and relevant customer technologies, preferably with large, complex enterprise-level programs.
4. Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels.
5. Must possess good analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve process, ticketing system, and interpersonal issues.
6. Must be proactive in managing workload and communicate up when time is available to work on additional tasks.
7. Ensures that regular consistent communications take place within area of responsibility.
8. Experience working with SAP systems including understanding infrastructure, middleware technologies.
9. Strong interpersonal skills – ability to influence outcomes through persuasion, building consensus and negotiating solutions.
10. Ability to operate as part of a global team.
11. Ability to multi-task and manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities.
12. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with large enterprise system and managing changes.
13. Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university in Computer/IT or other relevant engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

1. Minimum 3 years of any IT Governance processes.
