PasarPolis has demonstrated exponential policy growth since closing of its Series A round in August 2018 participated by three Indonesian biggest unicorns - Gojek, Tokopedia and Traveloka - with the number of monthly policies issued growing more than 80 times ever since. The Company has successfully expanded across the region. To date, we are currently present in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and we have an R&D Center in India.

In August 2020, PasarPolis completed a US$54 million Series B funding round, which is considered the largest Series B funding recorded for an insurtech firm in Southeast Asia, and potentially it is also the biggest disclosed investment round for insurtech firms in the region. The round included participation from LeapFrog Investments, SBI Investment, Alpha JWC, Intudo Ventures, Go-Ventures and Xiaomi Ventures and will be used to support the company’s growth plan. In February 2021, PasarPolis secured US$5 million funding from World Bank’s sister organization International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Area claim: Agency, B2B2C, B2C in MV, Property, Cargo, Product Liability, Heavy Equipment.

1. Monitoring new claims reporting/notifications to & from the Insurers (B2B2C and Agency);
2. Provide approval after claims handler collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim within authority limit;
3. Analyzing claim (end to end) made by policyholders & loss adjuster;
4. Guiding & provide advice related proceed claim include investigate suspect fraud;
5. Contacting trades people from a network of approved professionals and arranging for them to make repairs on the policyholder's property (if required);
6. Investigating potentially fraudulent claims;
7. Identifying reasons & clear explanation why full payment may not be made;
8. Ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim;
9. Building relationships with loss adjusters, forensic accountants and solicitors/lawyers, as well as other legal/claims professionals;
10. Ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines;
11. Involvement in loss adjusting activities and in legal discussions relating to settlement;
12. Check draft agreement between company x insurer and company x partners. Liaise with Partnership, Placement, Product Development and Product Management;
13. Providing data needed related to claims.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in any major.
• Having minimum 2 years of experience in similar position in the General Insurance industry.
• Fluent in English and a confident communicator is a must.
• Have a solid knowledge in General Insurance products.
• Self motivated, proactive, creative, energetic and ambitious.
• Posses a good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Posses a good administration skills.
• Target oriented.
