Job Description
The Senior Associate Treasury Manager - Business Implementation will lead and manage banking product and service implementations across multiple countries, ensuring seamless operations and compliance. The role involves overseeing bank account management, trade services, virtual credit card systems, and optimizing banking relationships to enhance financial performance. This position requires collaboration with internal teams to provide innovative solutions while maintaining adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
Banking Product/Service Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of banking products and services across ASEAN/APAC.
Bank Account Management:
- Oversee the opening and closing of bank accounts in all coverage countries.
Bank Trade Services:
- Manage the issuance process for trade services such as Bank Guarantees and SBLCs across all regions.
Virtual Credit Card Management:
- Handle virtual credit card product pricing, system migration, and ongoing system management.
Banking Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with 30 banking partners across all countries to optimize yield (bank interest) and minimize costs (fees).
Policy & Compliance:
- Develop and update policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manual guidelines for treasury operations.
- Apply and maintain policy matrix authorization with all banking partners to ensure compliance.
Banking Portal Management:
- Set up banking portals for 30 partner banks, including user access, templates, and product knowledge integration.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions related to bank automation and pricing strategies.
Entity Dissolution/Decommissioning:
- Manage processes related to entity dissolution or decommissioning in relation to banking operations.
KYC Updates:
- Lead Know Your Customer (KYC) updates for all banking partners in all countries.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in treasury operations or banking relationship management in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of banking products such as trade services (Bank Guarantees, SBLCs) and virtual credit cards.
- Excellent negotiation skills for optimizing yields and minimizing costs with banking partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries effectively.
- Familiarity with KYC processes and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in managing banking portals and systems integration.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, GSheets, Powerpoint.
- Strong analytical skills for policy development and financial optimization strategies.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external banking partners.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in multinational organizations with operations across Asia-Pacific regions or globally.
- Knowledge of automation processes related to treasury functions.
