Neway International are seeking a Registered Social Worker to join our client Monmouthshire County Council, based at County Hall, Usk.
Location: County Hall, Usk, Monmouthshire, NP15 1GA
Hours: 37 per week, 5 days (3 days office-based, remainder locality NP15 1GA)
Start Date: 17 December 2025
Duration: 16 Weeks (Temporary – short term sickness cover)
Pay Rate: £29.24 PAYE / £39.32 Umbrella

Their Early Help and Assessment Team provides vital intake and assessment services, ensuring timely interventions and effective support for families in need.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Social Worker to join the Early Help and Assessment Team. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, undertaking assessments, reviews, and preparing reports, including court attendance. You will provide advice and support to children, young people, families, and carers in line with the principles of the 1989 Children’s Act, ensuring safeguarding and resilience-building.
