Role: LGV Car Transporter Driver

Salary: OTE of £66,000 once fully trained - hourly paid

Location: Fleet locations across the UK

Job Type: Full - Time, Permanent

Hours: Variable including requirement to be away at least 4 nights per week

ECM (Vehicle Delivery Services) Ltd is one of the UK's most dynamic transport companies, specialising in the nationwide movement of new and used vehicles via car transporter. With a fleet of over 500 transporters, we are part of the Constellation Automotive Group, which includes leading brands such as We Buy Any Car, Cinch, and British Car Auctions.

We're looking for professional and experienced Car Transporter Drivers (ROLFO/TE+11 or similar) in various locations across the UK. We also have opportunities for a limited number of novice car transporter drivers (LGV Class1 required).

LGV Car Transporter Driver - The Role:

The Ideal candidates will have experience driving and operating car transporters and be capable of working to a consistently high standard in this quality driven and demanding environment. These positions require up to 4 nights out per week with tax free night out allowances as you will make national deliveries, working with a range of vehicle products including prestige brands.

LGV Car Transporter Driver - Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently collect and deliver vehicles as directed
2. You must be able to meet the physical demands of the job including loading and unloading of vehicles, working at height and in all weathers
3. Accurately complete collection and delivery reports in line with client requirements
4. Report accidents, damages, and faults promptly in line with company policy
5. Ensure the security of customers' vehicles and property
6. Adhere to Health and Safety policies and use PPE as needed
7. Represent ECM professionally on the road and when interacting with clients
8. Maintain a professional appearance and deliver exceptional customer service

LGV Car Transporter Driver - You:

1. A valid LGV licence with at least 2 years driving experience
2. Be willing to work away from home each week (Monday through to Friday, occasional Saturdays)
3. A valid Driver Digital Tacho-graph card
4. Previous driving experience in a similar role
5. A good knowledge of UK road networks
6. Be capable of working to a high standard within a quality driven environment
7. Possess great attention to detail and have pride in their work
8. No more than 3 penalty points; no DR or DD endorsements
