We are seeking an immediately available Payroll Supervisor to join our client's team in Gateshead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional with experience in overseeing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with HMRC regulations.

The role is on a permanent basis, and can be worked on a hybrid basis to suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise end-to-end payroll processing for employees
2. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
3. Manage payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
4. Liaise with finance and HR teams to streamline payroll operations
5. Support system improvements and reporting

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor or Senior Payroll Administrator
2. Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations, tax, and pensions
3. Experience with iTrent software (preferred)
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
