A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a fixed-term contract at HMP Norwich. The role involves managing medication delivery, adhering to strict guidelines, and supporting a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have a BTEC or NVQ level 3 in pharmaceutical sciences, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and possess strong communication and IT skills. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated pharmacy team at HMP Norwich.
The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient, safe and comprehensive pharmaceutical service within the prison pharmacy departments.
As a Pharmacy Technician, your days will be rewarding and varied, you will work on a wing where you will be responsible for the administration of medication to patients and the associated medication management activities, including audits and stock checks under the direction of the Clinical Lead and the Pharmacist Manager.
You will be expected to work autonomously within guidelines, standard operating procedures and Medicine Policy.
