Walker Cole International is searching for a Buyer to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing business in the East of England.

Your responsibilities as a Procurement Manager will be:

• Planning & Inventory Management: Ensure a robust raw material supply chain with optimal stock levels, maintain ERP data, and support quality issue resolution.
• Purchasing & Supplier Management: Procure raw materials based on MRP, negotiate pricing and terms, manage supplier relationships, assess risks, and support supplier audits.
• Process Improvement & Compliance: Drive continuous improvement in raw material supply, assist with regulatory documentation, and support procurement strategy.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with NPD, QA, and manufacturing teams, manage supplier performance data, facilitate stock transfers, and approve invoices.

To be a successful candidate for the Procurement Manager you will have:

• BSc/MSc in relevant subject (Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science).
• Proven experience in Procurement.
• Industry experience in Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices.
• Use of ERP based purchasing systems.
