Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

Location: A reputable Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Lancashire, operating across multiple sites.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Estates Operations Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our college's estate across six sites. This pivotal role ensures that our facilities are safe, compliant, and conducive to learning.

• Supervising maintenance and repairs across all college sites, managing relationships with contractors and service providers, and overseeing budgets and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations. Regularly reviewing and updating policies and procedures, maintaining comprehensive risk assessments, overseeing site security and coordinating emergency evacuations. Additionally, monitoring and recording all accidents, near misses, and first aid incidents.
• Managing staff rotas, providing support for professional development, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Providing support for college events and exams, ensuring all logistical and facilities-related aspects are addressed.
• Leading initiatives to embed sustainability into all aspects of estate operations, driving the college’s green agenda and implementing innovative practices to reduce environmental impact.

• Proven experience as an Estates Operations Manager ideally within an educational environment.
• Relevant Health and Safety or First Aid certifications, but support can be provided to help you to obtain these.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
• Excellent organisational and budget management abilities.
• Commitment to promoting sustainability within estate management.
