Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To optimize and develop those components of the Information System within their scope of responsibility (systems and communication tools and/or infrastructures) in accordance with quality, productivity and security targets. To monitor technology developments, contribute to general technical architecture design and development studies, and take part in IT platform qualification.

Scope of Activities:

1. Conduct system definition studies, as required
2. Contribute to the process of selecting solutions, suppliers and operators
3. Ensure performance optimization and capacity management for those environments within your scope of responsibility
4. Lead on transformation plans and projects
5. Assist with, and advise on, the implementation of technical solutions
6. Diagnose the causes of malfunctions and propose corrective actions and alternative solutions
7. Inform teams about technical developments to the system
8. Provide training in the use of new systems
9. Be involved in Service Management processes, such as incident resolution, problem resolution and request handling
10. Monitor technology trends in IS skills domains
11. Suggest solutions for improving system performance
12. Act as the recognized interface with experts and other domains
13. Set the rules for effective management of operating systems/telecoms networks
14. Qualify systems technically and functionally
15. Check that IS security, quality and other standards are applied
16. Certify components and applications developed
17. Ensure the improvement of the norms and standards applying to IT production
18. Define, optimize and implement IT production norms, standards, technical integration methodologies, maps and associated tools.
19. Contribute to conferences, forums and working groups
20. Teach and publish
21. Address and resolve QSE alerts raised by personnel
22. Ensure that your team has the skills required for their jobs (QSE training, accreditations, etc.)
23. Support QSE maturity development in your sector
