The mission of the role is to lead and guide the welding shop team, ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, optimize welding processes and production sequences, and actively participate in welding work in day-to-day operations. You will train, guide and develop welding personnel and collaborate with related departments such as design, production and quality assurance.

• Goal-oriented management and technical guidance of employees in the welding shop
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, safety and environmental standards
• Optimization and monitoring of welding processes and production sequences
• Training, guidance and further development of welding personnel
• Active participation in welding work in day-to-day business - you will independently take on challenging welding tasks
• Collaboration with related departments such as design, production and quality assurance

• Completed training in the metal sector with further training as a certified welding foreman (m/f/d) or welding specialist - alternatively welder or with relevant experience
• Several years of practical experience in the field of welding, ideally with management experience
• Sound knowledge of common welding processes (e.g. MAG, MIG, WIG)
• Confident handling of technical drawings and relevant welding standards (e.g. DIN EN ISO 9606)
• High level of reliability, organizational skills and ability to work in a team
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Confident appearance and strong communication skills
• Willingness to actively participate in the production process
• Willingness to participate in internal training courses on information security is expected. Basic knowledge of information security is an advantage
