A leading medical education company in Berlin is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer to enhance their innovative learning content. The successful candidate will be responsible for post-production work on various educational and marketing videos. A strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and passion for storytelling through motion is essential. You will explore and apply a range of visual storytelling techniques across marketing and educational content, combining creativity with technical execution to support different strategic objectives and channels. You will collaborate closely with professionals from creative, strategic, and medical backgrounds, gaining exposure to diverse perspectives while developing your skills across multiple stages of the production process.
Work on post-production for the CME course presentation-style episodes, using established structures, templates and workflows.
Edit and animate educational skill training focus videos, as a part of courses or for the platform.
Edit marketing trailers and performance marketing videos to promote AMBOSS CME courses across digital channels.
Develop, adapt and maintain motion graphic templates.
Ensure consistent visual, technical, and storytelling quality across all video content.
Apply didactic principles, motion design and performance marketing best practices, as well as brand design guidelines.
Collaborate with video producers, motion designers, graphic designers, medical project managers and marketing managers throughout the production process)
2-4 years of experience in video production with the main focus on video editing and motion graphics.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Illustrator), Figma.
A showreel demonstrating your relevant experience, understanding of video and motion principles, as well as ability to apply techniques according to various video goals.
Efficient in motion workflows, archiving and organization.
Working knowledge of color grading and sound mixing.
Enthusiasm for telling stories through motion and visual elements, while addressing a niche audience.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
Clear and effective communication skills and openness to feedback.
Working in a structured environment and following visual templates.
Exploring and implementing various visual storytelling techniques.
Mastering each detail of a video to fit the highest production standard.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an iterative production environment.
