A role for a talented creative with a variety of design skills. The Creative Associate will manage and maintain the visual identity of the Techspace brand, advocating guidelines to the team, and ensuring guidelines are met across all assets we use in the business.
Working across a range of mediums and channels, this role will work in accordance with the Brand Guidelines we’ve set, designing all visual assets for the business. This will include the creation of online and offline posters, photographing our workspaces across the portfolio, designing marketing and sales brochures, procuring wayfinding and member signage systems, updating optimising the Techspace brochure website and app, building document templates for the company to use, producing event posters, designing broadcast mail templates and newsletters, filming video and editing both still and moving image.
As part of the role you will also be required to contribute to the outward facing identity of the business, supporting with assets and ideas for our social media channels and third party listing sites, in-building interior design experiences, artworking for company merchandise, as well as sales content and collateral.
You will need an excellent eye for detail, serve our internal team with their creative and design requests and be a custodian of the Techspace brand. Make no mistakes about it, we are still a ~50 person team, so you will need to get stuck in.
Brand management: As one of the main custodians for the brand, you will be required to develop our brand guidelines alongside the Marketing Director. Ensuring the wider business maintains consistency across all mediums, and rectifying any missteps. In order to achieve this, you will actively manage our internal Google Drive, and company wiki to empower the team to use up to date collateral wherever possible, signposting assets and communicating updates to the team regularly.
3rd party brokers: You will work with Sales teams (across offices, meeting rooms and events) updating our internal availability and subsequently updating broker listings across all partner platforms in London and Berlin. Regularly updating listings month to month. At the same time, you will work to ensure partners are educated and understand our offering and value proposition, so they can communicate this to clients, sending our availability newsletter to broker partners to drive relevant demand to our Sales teams.
Designing: As the only role within the business dedicated to designing, you will be required to create one off designs for campaigns, sales brochures and marketing projects, as well as build and maintain design templates for the rest of the company to use day to day:
Offline and online posters and promotional material: Working in Illustrator and Canva you will support sales and marketing teams by producing artwork for their needs. This will involve creating banners for newsletters, posters for company events, visuals for social media campaigns and alike.
Sales brochures and sales enablement: Working mainly in Google Slides, you will create and keep up to date sales brochures that support the wider team in selling our products and services. To do this you will need to work cross-functionally, answering GTM briefs and interfacing with the product team to produce eye-catching and engaging brochures our team can use to convert prospects into customers.
Build and maintain template library: Across the business different teams will require documents and design templates. Using Google Suite and Canva (and other software) you will need to service the team by creating and maintaining a self-serve library of design templates the team can use at will.
Design support: Inevitably, your design prowess will be needed for one-off requests. You will be responsible for answering the design tasks that come via the Marketing Service Desk (our internal team support desk).
Still and moving image: You will develop your skills as a videographer and photographer in order to serve the marketing team’s needs to capture assets required to sell workspaces, services and alike, or support promotional activities. As part of this remit, you will need to edit images and files in post to prepare the right assets for use by the team. Including compressing files and managing the ongoing library of space photos within Google Drive so the wider team can find and easily access the right materials when they need them.
Website: Managing the website is a key part of this role. Using Webflow, you will collaborate with the rest of the sales and marketing team to keep the brochure site up to date, updating listings for sales, updating photography and space plans and building new landing pages that bring the current value proposition to life and reflect the product offering. You will also be required to improve the performance of the site, working alongside the Growth Marketing Lead to ensure our SEO and on-site performance is performing. To do this you will also keep an eye on Google Analytics and identify new strategies to maximise the user experience and sales conversion of the site.
Member-facing assets: Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will work to improve the member experience wherever possible. Supporting member comms from a design perspective, updating the UX of the members’ app, updating the digital screens across our locations, and improving the design of the member onboarding flow.
Other: As a creative mind, you may also be pulled into creative projects on a one-off basis. Examples of this could include supporting with building design upgrades, choosing building wayfinding, updating company merchandising and/ or improving the member experience. You will also be required to source and manage suppliers across the value chain where it relates to your role.
