Our client, a leading global trading company, is seeking a Business Development Manager for their newly established Nutrition & Agriculture Business Development Department. This full-time, permanent position is based in Europe and offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse team.

• Maintain and grow current customer relationships and business operations.
• Establish new customer connections and expand networks with European organizations, especially in the animal nutrition and health sectors.
• Innovate new business concepts within the Nutrition & Agriculture industry.
• Investigate business trends and regulations across Europe.
• Work collaboratively with global and cross-industry business and corporate units.
• Ensure alignment with the company's global strategy and assist in sales activities.
• Perform credit evaluations and manage credit lines in partnership with the Risk Management Department.
• Handle import and export orders, including necessary documentation.
• Coordinate logistics and deliveries in collaboration with freight companies.
• Assist the General Manager and contribute to the enhancement of internal execution processes.
• Travel is required approximately 30% of the time, primarily within Europe.

• Hold a degree in Chemistry, ideally with a specialization in Animal Nutrition or Veterinary Science.
• Experience in the agriculture and nutrition sectors is beneficial.
• Background in trading is preferred.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently with a well-organized and solution-focused approach.
• Demonstrates a proactive and creative team spirit with a high level of reliability.
• Enjoys collaborating within a diverse and international team.
• Open to travel.
