Job summary
A governmental organization in Drayton Valley, Alberta, is seeking a food services supervisor. The candidate will establish work schedules, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure food quality standards are met. A secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience are required. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, training staff in food safety, and addressing customer concerns. It offers the opportunity to work within a team to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for chef.
