A leading energy research company is seeking a Senior Modelling Specialist for their São Paulo office. This role involves leading the development of advanced energy models, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with research teams to generate insights. Reporting To: Principal Energy Modeller
Aurora’s modelling team create and maintain the energy models that underpin our subscription analytics, advisory, and software offerings. Based in São Paulo and focused on the Americas power markets, successful candidates will work in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment that values collaboration, learning and mutual support. They will contribute to our energy modelling efforts in the Americas by combining energy market knowledge with state‑of‑the‑art modelling techniques. They will be given the opportunity to lead model development projects, mentor junior colleagues, and shape the direction of the modelling team. The position suits an experienced Modeller/Quantitative analyst from a strategic or economic consultancy, energy company, financial services company, or knowledge‑focused firm or institution. We’re looking for candidates who bring both technical expertise and a collaborative leadership style, with a proven ability to support and inspire teams toward dependable, high‑quality outcomes.
