Acting as Equipment Operator I A (affirmative position for PCD) at Alcoa's plant located in Juruti/PA, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining essential utility systems, including fire fighting systems, air compressors, water treatment stations, and sanitary and oily effluent systems, as well as fueling equipment and vehicles. This professional ensures the efficient and safe operation of utility systems by conducting regular inspections, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, and promptly responding to any failures or emergencies, working closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure operational continuity and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure the operation of the fire fighting system, ensuring the operation of Water Treatment Stations (ETA), sanitary effluents (ETE), and oily effluents (CSAO); monitor and analyze water treatment; operate air compressors and their piping network;
• Fuel vehicles and equipment (diesel or gasoline); conduct inventories and check fuel volumes in tanks and equipment; calibrate fuel pumps; replace dosing pumps and piping; handle and mix chemicals in tanks;
• Support the technician; monitor third-party services; receive, issue, and forward reports; equipment checklists; prepare shift reports;
• Clean equipment and the area; monitor fire inspections; sign fire checklists; oversee maintenance of systems;
• Prepare daily service reports (record in the logbook and system); maintain water supply through valve control; release maintenance services; monitor lift stations;
• Perform low-complexity maintenance tasks as needed, replacing, cleaning, repairing, and installing parts and components, according to SSMA policy and appropriate procedures.

• Completed High School;
• Technical Course in Chemistry, Safety, Environment, and related areas (desirable);
• Office Suite;
• Good interpersonal relationships, being organized, and having good communication; ability to work in a team with listening skills; interaction with multidisciplinary teams;
• Field-focused activity (operation);
• National Driver's License – category B (cannot be a permit);
• Willingness to reside in a remote area/PA.
